What is a Podcast?
ACUTEC now have available a series of monthly IT related podcasts. A podcast is simply an audio file that you can download to your computer or portable music device allowing you to listen at any time you want.

The audio files are usually "MP3s" and can be downloaded individually. However ACUTEC recommend that you use a program such as iTunes to allow you to subscribe  to our podcast and receive any new episodes automatically.

Subscribing to a podcast is easy.

How to Subscribe
Using iTunes
1) iTunes is one of the most popular methods of subscribing to our podcast. If you have iTunes installed, just use the "Subscribe in iTunes" link. iTunes will automatically load and the latest episode downloaded automatically to your computer and synced to your portable music device as appropriate.
2) Using Other Software (or if there is a problem with iTunes)
We use what is called an RSS Feed to provide details of new podcasts. Once subscribed, your software should automatically find details of new episode for you.

If you are using Firefox or Internet Explorer 7, you can click on our RSS Feed and use the "RSS Feed" button to subscribe to our podcast.

You are free to use any other software to subscribe to our podcast. To do so, you will need to know the location of our RSS Feed. Please copy the RSS Link as detailed below and paste the URL into your podcast software as appropriate (eg in iTunes, go to the Advanced menu, choose Subscribe to Podcast and paste the Link in)

Download an Individual Episode
Alternatively, you may just want to listen to one of our episodes without subscribing. You can download the latest episode using the "Download Latest" link.
