We are looking to recruit a skilled Software Developer to join our growing development team. The role will involve working on bespoke systems across a variety of client lead development projects and learning new technologies and discovering innovative solutions. The role will involve using the following technologies, however any other development skills will be considered advantageous: – C# / ASP.NET (use of Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 and above) – HTML / Bootstrap / JS / JQuery – SQL (use of Microsoft SQL Server and Reporting Studio) You will be involved in the full software development lifecycle, including: Discovering or Analysing Requirements – Designing and Implementing Code – Testing and Documentation.

IT Service Desk Manager

We are an established Microsoft Gold Managed Service Provider and Software Development company close to the NEC in the Midlands, currently seek to recruit an IT Service Desk Manager to join our team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced IT Manager with a good record of managing and leading a technical team to further their career. Within this varied, hands-on role the IT Service Desk Manager will provide leadership and guidance to a Service Desk team of eight, helping out with taking calls and onsite work when required.

Further duties will include: – Building relationships and liaising with clients on various parts of IT including Incidents, Requests and Projects – Establishing and enforcing service levels agreements and operational level agreements – Analysing and streamlining the performance of Service Desk activities and personnel – Utilizing various management techniques to ensure the highest possible standards are attained – Conducting performance appraisals of Service Desk staff on a 6 monthly basis – Coordinating and performing hands-on resolutions at 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support levels

To be considered for this position, the IT Service Desk Manager will need to demonstrate that they have a proven commercial background in an IT environment, and that they have gained experience of managing an IT technical team. Knowledge of ITIL framework would be advantageous. You will also hold a broad knowledge of IT hardware and vast experience with desktop and server operating systems, in addition to complementary skills such as proven relationship management and the ability to motivate and direct staff. Though not essential requirements, any Microsoft certifications (MCSA, MCSE or MCITP), a degree (or equivalent) and/or experience working for an IT Service provider would be advantageous to your application.
